The film follows a young insecure boy on the autism spectrum who befriends a magical puppet who escaped from a tyrant magician. As the two form an immediate bond, the magician attempts to track them.

Raymond Shorter, wrote the first draft of the script for Tommy and Ray as a student at Wedgwood Academy. Raymond is an aspiring actor and will star as Ray in the film. Raymond is also an excellent pianist and musician.
Our Goal
Tommy and Ray’s goal is to create an inclusive production for actors and filmmakers with disabilities. Ray and Tommy aim to support special needs children by producing a film that fosters positive changes in key areas. These include enhancing communication skills, improving social interactions, encouraging better self-regulation, promoting greater independence in daily activities, increasing participation in classroom settings, facilitating positive behavioral modifications, and contributing to the overall development of life skills. The production opportunities are designed for individuals with disabilities and encompass various roles, including acting, behind-the-scenes production work, and collaborating with the film crew in positions tailored to each child's specific needs. All of this is achieved through individualized interventions and supportive strategies.
