I was born on November 15, 2004, in Arlington, Texas. From the beginning, my life has been shaped by a deep sense of family and the rich traditions that keep us connected.
I was raised in a bustling household with my parents and three sisters – two older and one younger, along with our cherished rescue dogs and chickens. Our family’s unique blend of typical American traditions is mixed with the discovery of our Ashkenazi Jewish heritage.
My childhood was filled with vivid memories of travel and adventure. Regular trips to San Diego to visit my grandparents opened my eyes to new experiences. These experiences not only enriched my early years but also instilled in me a curiosity about the world and an appreciation for family bonds.
Education has always been a dynamic journey for me, as I was born with Asperger’s syndrome, a form of Autism Spectrum Disorder, that’s a developmental disorder. I spent my early school years being homeschooled and participating in co-ops until about 12, then attended Wedgwood Academy. One of my proudest academic achievements so far was earning a digital marketing certificate from PMG, a digital marketing agency, which affirmed my commitment to learning and growth.
Entering the workforce, I gained my first real-world experience working in the electronics department at Walmart, it taught me responsibility and professionalism. Later, I reached a significant career milestone by working for a local rental business, an experience despite the challenges of my disability, enriched my understanding of the business world and channeled my passion for creativity about Photoshop and photo digitizing work.
My hobbies are gaming, drawing, writing, web design, photography, and collecting physical media. Winning ribbons at the State Fair of Texas for my Lego builds and collections has not only boosted my confidence but also encouraged me to continually hone my craft. I am determined to never let being on the autism spectrum hinder me from accomplishing my goal.
Life hasn’t been without its challenges, and I have faced significant setbacks. However, I have navigated through these hardships, along with moments of disappointments, and it has taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of learning from failure. These small mountains have reinforced my core beliefs in honesty, responsibility and the power of perseverance.
As I look toward to the future, I’m excited about graduating with a degree in Graphic Communications and launching a career in marketing, graphic design, technology and acting. I am interested in making things that other people can enjoy and connect with. I want a life where I can stay curious, keep learning and share what I create with the world. My journey has been defined by a blend of traditions, creativity, challenges and unwavering resilience, and I am eager to see where this ever-evolving path takes me next.
